There are several editions of this textbook, which in known for it's culture-centric approach to learning. This is the textbook used during my summer immersion program at Middlebury College, for one of their beginner levels.
The curriculum covers everything from learning the days of the week to the subjunctive verb tenses. Note that there are no answers to the exercises included (which is no uncommon for textbooks), but it will expose you to a long list of topics to learn.

The book of 28 chapters is organized into four sections: (1) Part One: Verbs - Forms and Uses; (2) Part Two: Nouns and their Modifiers; Pronouns; (3) Part Three: Other Elements of the Sentence; and (4) Part Four: Idiomatic Usage. The first sections of each chapter are extremely useful - the explanation of the rules. There are also many examples and cultural notes included, but note the answers to the exercises are not included.

These books are by level (A1-A2, A1-B2, B1-B2, C1-C2, etc.) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). They are organized by grammar topic, such as demonstrativos, comparativo de igualidad, pretérito pluscuamperfecto de subjuntivo, voz pasiva, etc.
Each unit consists of two pages, the first is a comprehensive review of the topic with examples, and the second page is full of practice exercises. The answers to the exercises are included in the back of the book. That being said, if you don't understand why the answer is what it is, you will need to ask your teacher.
